Please join us in sending our immediate thoughts and prayers to Black Lives Matter Activist Sasha Johnson as it has recently been reported that she is in critical condition after being shot in her head!

According to CNN local police officials responded to reports of gunfire around 3AM of within the southeast area.

“It is with great sadness that we inform you that our own Sasha Johnson, 27 has been brutally attacked and sustained a gunshot wound to her head,” reads a statement from the Taking the Initiative Party (TTIP) on Sunday.

“She is currently in intensive care and in a critical condition.”

The party has indicated that the attack derives from “following numerous death threats as a result of her activism.”

Police officials have stated that there is currently no evidence that suggests Sasha was targeted or, “had received any credible threats against her prior to this incident.”

“A dedicated team of detectives is working tirelessly to identify the person or persons responsible for this shooting,” states Detective Chief Inspector Jim Tele.
He added that “they need the public’s help.’‘ while also urging people to come forward if they have any information about the incident while also calling on the public to “avoid speculating as to the motive or the circumstances behind it.”

Sasha is noted as being a prominent and powerful voice within her community that has built a platform based on advocating for social and racial justice. She is also a mother of three that works to deliver groceries to families in need.
