Grammy award singer and song writer Monica Denise has been named the face of VH1’s new crime series titled ‘Infamy: When Fame Turns Deadly’
The series will consist of eight episodes set to “explore, celebrity cases where notoriety and fame turn fatal,” reads a description of the show.
“Each episode unravels the mystery and the motives behind the crimes, revealing a dark side to being in the public eye when betrayal, jealousy and greed lead to tragedy.”
Monica took to social media on Wednesday to forward a preview of the series while also speaking on her excitement to host a series outside of the norms of her career.
“Join me June 7th on @vh1 at 10/9c as I host @infamyvh1 a new show about crimes, passion, the unsolved and the unfair. This show means a lot to me as I go from an avid viewer to now hosting a show of its kind. #famecanbedeadly”
