The cat is officially out of the bag as it has recently been confirmed that Emmy award winning actress Zendaya is set to voice Lola Bunny in the Space Jam: A New Legacy film!

As we previously reported HBO Max and Warner Bros. officially debut the film’s highly anticipated trailer staring LeBron James on Saturday.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the film’s director Malcolm D. Lee has stated Zendaya is the perfect pick for Lola’s role because she will, “ reflect the authenticity of strong, capable female characters.”

He continues by explaining, “We reworked a lot of things, not only her look. Like making sure she had an appropriate length on her shorts and was feminine without being objectified, but gave her a real voice.”
