Issa Rae is taking her legacy within the entertainment business up a few notches as she has officially signed a multiple figure five year over all deal in partnership with WarnerMedia!

According to Variety the new deal allows HBO, HBO Max and Warner Bro’s television exclusive rights to content produced by Issa’s media label Hoorae .

Reports read that the deal will also involve a first-look film deal with WarnerMedia brands such as Warner Bros Pictures Group, New Line and HBO Max.

“It’s really exciting to have that flexibility and just deepen the relationship that we already have,” Issa states.

“Hoorae already had at least 15 projects in various stages of development with them, so we’d been working with them on the drama side, the unscripted side, and the documentaries side for a couple years now.”

She continues, When people believe in you and build with you, I tend to want to further that relationship. That’s just been a staple of mine with so many of the people that I work with.”

It has been indicated that the deal consists of $40 million dollars over the scope of 5 years.
