Singers and actresses Brandy Norwood and Naturi Naughton have officially been casted to star in ABC’s new musical drama pilot ‘Queens’

As we previously reported the Queens pilot will unveil the story of four estranged women within their 40s that reconnect following a chance to obtain fame and popularity that they once lived as part of their legendary 90’s hip-hop group Nasty B*tches.

It has been indicated that Brandy will take on the role of Naomi also known by the stage name of Xplicit Lyrics. She’s considered the brains of the group’s entire operation.

That was until her day dreams of becoming a successful solo act lead her to playing music at local bars.

Naturi is set to take on the role of Jill also known as Da Thrill, who has currently turned her life over to being a married Catholic woman living happily in Montana.

However her haunting past often conflicts with her present life.
