The lives of 8 residents were gruesomely taken on Tuesday afternoon following a terrorist attack at three local Atlanta massage paroles within radius of one another by a 21 year old gunman!
The incident took place around 5PM EST on March 16th as Robert Aaron Long of Woodstock, Georgia opened fire on five people within Young’s Asian Massage located in Cherokee County, GA reports the NY Post.
It has been indicated that four of the five victims died. The unidentified victims were two Asian women, A Caucasian woman and a Caucasian man.
Reports read that in less than a hour later four additional people were killed in two other spa locations on Piedmont Road in Atlanta. All four of the victims were Asian women reports local officials.
“We are in the very early stages of this,” states Atlanta police Chief Rodney Bryant states.
When asked if the incident was directly connected to the rise in Anti-Asian hate crimes Bryant noted that it’s too early to speculate as of yet and is still under investigation.
Sources have confirmed that Long was arrested nearly 125 miles away from the crime scene as authorities discovered his car in Crisp County.
Long remains in police custody at this time.
