Disney Channel Forwards Pilot Order For ‘Saturdays’ Comedy Produced By Marsai Martin!

The youngest boss in charge Marsai Martin is leveling up within her continuous reign in the entertainment industry as her new comedy series “Saturdays” has officially received a pilot order from the Disney Channel!

According to Deadline, the single camera comedy will depict the life of a young teenage girl juggling leading a competitive roller skating crew while battling sickle cell with constant flare ups.

Reports read that the series will be produced by Marsai through her Genius Entertainment company, written by executive producer Norman Vance Jr and directed by Charles Stone III.

The series will star Danielle Jalade playing the role of Paris Johnson; her parents Cal and Deb portrayed by Omar Gooding and Golden Brooks and her older brother and aspiring D.J, played by Jermaine Harris.
