Prayers Up: Honduran Residents Left Homeless Following Back To Back Hurricanes!

Please join us in sending love and light to the people of Honduras following two back to back major hurricanes this month resulting in numerous residents becoming homeless!

According to BBC news; on November 3rd a category four hurricane tore between North Honduras and Guatemala.

Sources have confirmed within a two week radius another category four hurricane occurred. Reports read that both hurricanes resulted in major landslides, flooding and complete damage to numerous areas within Central America.

It has been indicated that the hurricanes claimed the lives of over 200 people with approximately 150,000 residents now homeless. Hundreds of people are currently facing health issues in direct results of the hurricane such as skin rashes, mosquito borne diseases and the risk of contracting Covid-19.

The Red Cross organization alongside the army, fire department and international rescue teams have been helping to assist families find shelter.

ABC news reports that the The International Red Cross has estimated roughly 4.2 million people have been affected by the back-to-back Category 4 hurricanes that took place within Honduras, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
