Lil Scrappy and Shakira Hardy have officially welcomed a son together!
The two took to social media in two separate posts to celebrate the birth of their son during thanksgiving weekend.
“So yes God blessed me yet again 8 days ago with another son. Grateful to have a new baby boy to join my family, no matter what the negatives say you still gone get this daddy love and support you and ya moms shout out to my lil guy,” wrote Scrappy along with the hashtags: #KyrieRichardson aka #YoungMerlo #Grateful&Blessed.
Dressed in a matching blue pajama set, Shakira also debuted the news of her son Kyrie’s arrival. “For the last 7days I’ve beencompletely distracted by this lil man.”
“Saturday 11/23/24 @ 7:39am I gave birth to a baby boy 7lbs 2.5oz. Labor was long but with the support of my child’s dad @reallilscrappy and my daughter, l was able to push him out in under 6mins,” wrote Shakira on Instagram.
As we previously reported the ‘Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta’ cast member confirmed a few months ago that he was expecting his fifth child.
Scrappy shares a 19-year-old daughter Emani Richardson, with his ex-fiancee Erica Dixo. He also shares three additional children, a son named Breland, and daughters Xylo, 4, and Cali, 3 with his ex-wife Adiz ‘Bambi’ Benson.
Both Shakira and Scrappy have confirmed that they are not in a relationship and are friends. Together they celebrated their son at a baby shower held in Brooklyn.
“Shout to my baby daddy for being here” said Shakira during a speech. “You came all the way from Atlanta. You had a lot of things to do and could’ve been at a lot of different place and you chose to be here with me. I appreciate that.”
