Please join us in sending love and light to Hip-Hop legend and former ‘Yo! MTV Raps’ show host Dr Dre upon the tragic news of him having his leg amputated recently following a sudden accident!

According to Rolling Stone Dr Dre also know as Andre Brown, 56 fell down a flight of stairs while exiting his sister’s home on Memorial Day.

Sources have confirmed that Dre injured his right ankle but didn’t think too much into it initially. It has been indicated that Dre’s treating doctor informed him that the injury grew into an infection and needed to be taken cared of immediately.

“The infection that was in my feet had started eating away at my bones,” says Dre. “If I had waited another day, I’d have been septic, and I could’ve died.”

Reports read that it wasn’t long before his leg was amputated from the area below his calf down. Dre was provided a prosthetic leg and is currently undergoing physically therapy.

It has been indicated that his family has established a GoFundMe account to help with medical expenses.
