The global retailing brand of #HandM has recently announced that they’ll be closing a total of 250 store locations in 2021!

According to CNN the brand has a total of 5,000 stores worldwide and will be shutting down 5% of their locations due to the increase of online shopping efforts within the Coronavirus pandemic.

“More and more customers started shopping online during the pandemic,” says a representative of H&M I’m a forwarded statement.

Reports read that the brand was able to reach roughly around 80% of its in store sales online even with the the temporary closure that took place earlier this year.

“Although the challenges are far from over, we believe that the worst is behind us and we are well placed to come out of the crisis stronger,” says CEO Helena Helmersson within a release.”
