Another deadly police shooting has taken place involving the death of a teenage male at the hands of a DC officer!

According to the Washington Post, the unidentified officer shot and killed #DeonKay , 18 Wednesday afternoon within the Southeast Washington’s Congress Heights neighborhood around 4PM.

Deon’s relatives have come forward to state that he celebrated his birthday only one month ago before his murder. Reports read he was killed half a mile from where his mother lives.

“They took my baby, they just took my baby from me,” said his mother, Natasha Kay.

She said police told her very little about what had happened. “I need my son back,” the mother said. “I want my son back.”

DC Police Chief Peter Nesham has confirmed that the shooting is under investigation and that the 7th district police officers were reportedly responding to a vehicle with weapons.

It has been indicated when officers approached the vehicle numerous occupants allegedly fled the scene. Two firearms were recovered and two people have been arrested.
