Please join us in sending our deepest prayers and condolences to a family left with a broken heart upon the tragic murder of their loved one Pfc. #VanessaGuillen!
Fort Hood, Pfc. Vanessa Guillen had originally been reported missing in April. According to CNN she was last seen alive in the parking lot of an Texas Army base on April 22nd.
Guillen’s family has come forward to state that prior to her disappearance she had indicated that she was being sexually harassed by a sergeant at Fort Hood. However details of the sergeant’s identity were never forwarded.
Though reports confirm that officials were not aware of the proposed sexual harassment reports, they did have a main suspect at bay by the name of Spc. Aaron David Robinson, 20. Unfortunately shortly after being confronted by police, Robinson killed himself.
Guillen’s family attorney Natalie Khawam informs local news of the chilling details surrounding her death, noting that she was bludgeoned to death with a hammer inside of a room where she worked.
Khawam confirms that Robinson had contacted Ceicily Anne Aguilar, an estranged wife of a former Fort Hood soldier that he was involved with to help him dispose of Guillen’s body.
Aguilar s currently being held in Bell County Jail pending for civilian authority charges.
