It has been over three months since the horrific and unjustifiable murder of Louisville, Kentucky resident #BreonnaTaylor. With numerous social media users, protestors and human rights activists rallying for justice on behalf of her life, celebrities around the world are also following suit!
Pitch Fork has recently reported that Houston, Texas native #Beyonce has issued an open letter to the Kentucky Attorney General demanding various calls of action.
Sources have confirmed that the letter highlights notion of bringing fourth charges against the three responsible officers, followed by an investigation and prosecution against them, while also conducting an investigation into the Louisville Metro Police Department’s response to Breonna’s murder.
The forwarded statement notes,“as well as the pervasive practices that result in the repeated deaths of unarmed Black citizens.”
“Take swift and decisive action in charging the officers,” Beyonce continues. “The next months cannot look like the last three.”
Beyoncé also urges the public to sign the two petitions on behalf of Breonna’s life , #JusticeforBre and #StandWithBreonna petitions.
