Barack And Michelle Obama Set To Deliver 2020 Commencement Speech For Graduating Class!

Our FOREVER President and First Lady #Barack and #MichelleObama are set to conduct a special virtual event for the high school graduating class of #2020!

According to ABC News, Barack and Michelle will hold two separate celebration ceremonies within the month of June. It has been indicated that Mr. Obama will also be apart of a virtual event for #HBCU students in May.

“Over the past month, President and Mrs. Obama have received dozens of requests from around the globe to address graduating classes whose in-person commencement events have been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” reads an official statement from the Obamas office. “Today, the Obamas are pleased to announce that they will participate in multiple virtual commencement celebrations for students, families and educators.”

I’ve always loved joining commencements––the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice. Even if we can’t get together in person this year, Michelle and I are excited to celebrate the nationwide Class of 2020 and recognize this milestone with you and your loved ones.

Both Michelle and Barack took to their personal social media pages on Instagram to share that they will also be involved in multiple virtual graduating ceremonies to help celebrate the #2020 class!
