As most of us endure one of the scariest and most unpredictable time of our lives, scammers of the world identify this moment as an opportunity to make money off of the misery of others!

According to #ABCNews11 , Kentucky officials are currently searching for a team of scammers who have been setting up shop throughout the state, dressing up as fake doctors and forwarding fake COVID-19 tests.

Sources have confirmed that the self proclaimed medical marketing company has created fake pop up testing centers outside of multiple churches within Louisville.

Reports read that the group dressed from head to toe in hazmat gear, charges a total of $200.00 for each test. The group orders for each patient to provide their DNA and personal information before being tested.

Metro Council President David James has come forward to state, “It’s really Medicaid fraud, is what it actually is. There is no reason that you should spend $240 dollars for a COVID test,” James said. “And they’re using the same gloves on Person A that they used on Person B, that they used on Person C.”

Officials believe that it was the same group of scammers that issued fake DNA testing for diseases in Illinois last year.
“They’re the scum of the Earth and they’re preying on the poorest of the poor, and I’m going to do everything in my power to get them out of Kentucky,” conclude James.
