#Cousins, almost a week after actor and husband #IdrisElba has come forward to confirm that he has tested positive for the #Coronavirus pandemic; his wife #SabrinaDhowreElba has also been diagnosed as well!
According to CNN Sabrina shared her results with media mogul #OprahWinfrey on Saturday within a video chat for Winfrey’s talk show, “ Oprah Talks COVID-19,” apart of Apple TV+series.
Sabrina was seen alongside her husband within the Facetime video, the two have revealed that they have both been under quarantine within their home for the past few days. She revealed that she received her test results earlier that day, also stating that she wasn’t surprised that she had tested positive.
It has been indicated that Sabrina believed she contracted the virus from Idris because she stayed by his side before and after finding out his results. “I wanted to be with him,” she stated. “That’s the instinct of a wife. You want to go and take care.”
Similar to her husband, Sabrina states she doesn’t have any symptoms, “I don’t feel anything that would come to what people would now expect to be a symptom of coronavirus, which is really strange.”
She continues, “It might change in the coming weeks, and we’ll keep everyone updated. But it is worrisome that we’re sitting here, two people, and … we’re asymptomatic.”
Idris goes on to defend his wife by stating, his wife took a risk by staying by his side. “It was weird because people were criticizing her for being next to me (in the video where he announced he had coronavirus) and that was bananas,” he said. “I think that took a little bit of a mental strain on both of us. We didn’t expect that.”
