#Cousins , it appears that New York City Governor #AndrewCuomo has made an official announcement on Wednesday declaring all CUNY and SUNY campuses to close following wide spread of the #Coronavirus!
According to the #DailyNews, March 19th will be the last day of in person classes for students for the 2020 Spring Semester.
Cuomo has stated that all of the universities students will be enrolled within a, “distance learning module” also known as classes online.
Reports read that the campuses will not be closed completely, certain courses that are necessary for in person interaction will remain.
Officials are in hopes of helping to stop the spread of the virus amongst students due to public transportation usage and in person classes.
