#Cousins ; it looks like #NickiMinaj ‘s husband #KennethPetty has found himself on the wrong side of the law recently after being reportedly arrested by Feds for failure to register as a Sex Offender within the state of California!
According to TMZ, Kenneth turned himself in to the U.S Marshals upon the apparent indictment on Wednesday.
Sources have confirmed that Petty’s issues began after he was pulled over in Beverly Hills on November 15th,2019. Within the traffic stop police officials determined that though Petty had been a registered Sex Offender in New York he failed to register in California, which is required. Reports read that Petty has officially been living in California since July of last year.
Though he has been released on a $20,000 bond, Kenneth has been charged by L.A. County D.A. for failing to register as a sex offender.
TMZ concludes that even after the initial arrest Kenneth still made no effort to check in.
It has been stated that Kenneth previously served almost 4 years in NY state prison under a 1995 conviction for first degree attempted rape.
If convicted Kenneth could find himself behind bars for a total of 10 years!
