Vanessa Bryant Files Official Wrongful Death Suit Against Helicopter Company In Kobe And Gianna Bryant!

#Cousins, it has recently been reported that wife and mother of #Kobe and #GiannaBryant, #VanessaBryant has officially taken legal action against the helicopter operation company and pilot responsible for the tragic death of her loved ones alongside 7 other passengers on January 26th.

According to the Los Angeles Times; the County Superior Court lawsuit has been filed against Island Express Holding Corp. and Island Express Helicopter company. Indicating that the helicopter operator and victim Ara Zobayan was negligent and exhibited failure “to use ordinary care in piloting the subject aircraft.”

The suit continues, ‘Defendant Island Express Helicopters authorized, directed and/or permitted a flight with full knowledge that the subject helicopter was flying into unsafe weather conditions.”

The suit notes that Kobe Bryant’s untimely death was caused “as a direct result of the negligent conduct of Zobayan,” the company is being identified as completely liable within all aspects.

Sources have indicated that the 27 line complaint highlights the notion that Zobayan’s estate is being sued for compensatory and punitive damages. “On information and belief, Defendant Island Express Helicopters employed Defendant Zobayan with conscious disregard of the rights or safety of others and authorized or ratified his wrong conduct, and itself engaged in conduct with malice, oppression, or fraud.”

Zobayan worked as Kobe’s helicopter operator for years with a super clean traction record. However reports read that the recently filed suit notes that Zobayan did not follow protocol when it came down to aborting the flight, monitoring assess weather, and exhibiting the ability to keep a safe distance between the fourth coming natural obstacles and the helicopter.

The suit implicates that proper and precise training and/or supervision wasn’t forwarded. ” After the FAA citation “to ensure the negligent action did not re-occur” and claims it “promoted and engaged in unnecessary and needlessly risky means of transport under the circumstances.” The complaint also notes that the company did not have “an adequate safety policy for cancellation of flights into known unsafe weather conditions.”
The tragic death of Kobe alongside his 13 year old daughter Gigi has sent a tidal wave of emotion around the world. Millions of fans, families and friends ultimately questioning the accidents dimensions as the Kobe was known to travel by helicopter for years. It has also been noted that the engine was in perfect shape prior to the accident.
