#Cousins ; recent reports have confirmed that New Jersey Senator Cory Booker has officially announced that he is no longer participating in the 2020 Presidential race!
According to NBC News; Booker’s decision to drop out of the race wasn’t at all a shocker, due to the fact that he wasn’t exactly able to build the necessary support needed from the Democratic Party.
Though Booker may have thrown in the towel at this time for the Presidential race, he is all in for the Senate impeachment Trial of President Trump.
“To reignite our spirit of common purpose to take on our biggest challenges and build a more just and fair country for everyone,” Booker says in a forwarded statement.
“I will carry this fight forward — I just won’t be doing it as a candidate for president this year,” Booker continues. “It’s with a full heart that I share this news — I’ve made the decision to suspend my campaign for president.”
