According to Pitch Fork , Mary has teamed up musical genius and longtime friend Sean “ Diddy” Combs to help produce this highly anticipated project. The pair have both been named Executive Producers of the film.
Sources have confirmed that the currently unnamed project is set to follow Mary’s personal and professional life. To provide behind the scenes and on stage reality as she prepares for her 25th anniversary tour for her 90’s album entitled My Life.
Reports read that the documentary is set to “provides a personal and never before seen look into the emotional journey of Mary J. Blige’s past struggles with poverty, abuse, addiction and heartbreak.”
The film is set for release through Amazon Studios!
