Missing Southern State Community Student Body Identified; DA Seeking Death Penalty For Murderer!

#Cousins ; it is with an extremely heavy heart that we inform you that the body of missing Southern Union State Community College student, Aniah Blanchard has officially been discovered !

As we previously reported Lee County, Alabama officials discovered a young woman’s remains last week within a wooded area. According to CNN News; a recently forwarded autopsy report not only confirmed the remains to be of Blanchard’s but also identified her cause of death to derive from a bullet wound.

Blanchard’s death has been ruled a homicide with officials seeking to upgrade charges on behalf of Ibraheem Yazeed. DA Brandon Hughes has recently stated his office plans to seek the death penalty against against Yazeed.
Yazeed is currently being held without bail at the Lee County Jail.

“We have determined that Mr. Yazeed was the lone person responsible in this case for abducting Aniah Blanchard,” Hughes states. “He is the only person responsible for Aniah’s murder.”

Hughes described the traumatic incident as a “horrific crime” that has effected their community heavily.”absolutely shaken our community to its core.”

Blanchard has been identified as being UFC heavy weight fighter Walt Harris stepdaughter. She was originally reported missing mid October. Officials have confirmed that Yazeed kidnapped Blanchard from a local gas station on College street.
