#Cousins please join us within deep prayer for the strength and recovery of a 10 year old boy currently fighting for his life after being hit by a stray bullet while walking home from school today!
#ABCNews reports that the incident took place this afternoon around 3:30PM near Margaret Street and Torresdale Avenue within the city’s Frankford section.
“Another child has been hit with gunfire at the hands of a coward,” states Deputy Commissioner Joe Sullivan with the Philadelphia Police Department.
Officials confirmed that the young boy was shot within the back of his head and rushed him to the hospital immediately. He’s currently in critical condition at the moment but he’s been identified as stable.
It has been stated that the bullet came from the backseat of a red/maroon Pontiac G6.
There are currently no suspects in custody at this time and no arrests have been made.
