Congratulations are in order! #Lizzo has successfully proven yet again that she’s 100% that B***h after creating Billboard history upon reaching the seventh week mark with her hit single Truth Hurts!
According to #Billboard Lizzo has officially tied with #IggyAzalea’s hit record “Fancy” feat Charli XCX as the longest reigning rap song by a female artist.
“Truth Hurts” initially reached the Hot 100 spot on Sept. 7 and remained it’s stay for six weeks in a row at the No. 1 spot. It wasn’t until recently it dropped down to No. 2 last week when #TravisScott single “Highest in the Room” hit the charts.
Reports show that a few other female rap artists have led the Hot top 100 mark within Billboard history :
