#Cousins, you will be please to know that the #Orlando, #Florida resource officer Dennis Turner has been officially terminated following the arrest of two small children under the age of 10!
According to #NBCNews Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon came forward earlier this afternoon to announce the official termination of Turner. Though the incident is still under investigation, sources have confirmed that Turner was fired within result of making two unlawful arrest of multiple children without approval of a commanding officer.
“This will not stop,” states the department Chief. “But at my level, I have the opportunity to be able to exercise that and when I came in today, I knew there was no choice here. He was going to be terminated.”
Turner previously arrested a six year girl for acting out due to lack of sleep where he then handcuffed and transferred her to a juvenile facility to have her mugshot and finger prints taken. It has also been stated that a 6 year old boy had also endured the same treatment from the former officer.
