Dang! We never thought we see the day but clearly anything is possible in 2019! It’s been brought to our attention that Atlanta’s Finest couple Monica and Shannon Brown have decided to end their marriage.
According to #TMZ Monica has officially filed for divorce earlier this month within Atlanta. Towards the last quarter of 2018 rumors began to circulate upon separation of the two, but nothing was ever confirmed. The two hadn’t posted any photographs with each other since November of last year and Monica hasn’t been spotted rocking her wedding ring in months. Sources state Monica attempted to have the divorce details sealed before the public caught wind of things, but she just wasn’t quick enough.
Sources state that the couple had only been together a few months before they decided to get married. Despite public opinion; the couple defended their love and moved forward with not one but two wedding ceremonies. Together they have one child, a daughter named Laiyah, 5. There has been no forwarded statement from neither Monica or Shannon upon the divorce.
