#Cousins, we have some pretty exciting news for y’all! In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth the car service agency #Lyft is now offering free rides and discounts to historically black museums, exhibits and culturally derived memorials.
According to #EbonyMagazine ; throughout the month of #February , Lyft will provide a single free ride up to a total of $10 or $ 10 off to historically black sites. Sources have indicated sites such as the #ApolloTheater within #Harlem , #NewYork and the National Museum of African American History and culture located in #WashingtonDC.
The company has issued a forwarded statement to say: “Lyft’s commitment to diversity and inclusion extends from our offices to the communities in which we serve. We believe the more we understand the diverse needs of our workforce and communities the better we are positioned to provide services, solutions, and products that make a positive impact.
