It’s been a few days since the gruesome attack of the beloved Fox Empire actor Jussie Smollett. As millions of fans, celebrities and community activists come forward with a heavy heart to express the hurt and pain they feel from the ordeal and provide full support of the kind hearted actor.
According to #TheGrio , Chicago Police Officials have released photos of two men who they want to bring in for further questioning . The images appear as screen shots from the surveillance cameras in the area Smollet was attacked. The images show two men dressed in dark clothing with covered faces. The Chicago Police has issues a forwarded statement : “Photos of people of interest who were in area of the alleged assault & battery of Empire cast member. While video does not capture an encounter, detectives are taking this development seriously & wish to question individuals as more cameras are being reviewed.”
Sources have indicated that the empire actor received hate mail which was delivered directly to Fox studios earlier this month, prior to the incident. Cut out letters from magazines reading out the words : “You will die black f**.”.
