Police Called To Iman Shumpert’s Home After Woman Claims He Hit Her; Witness Says Otherwise!

Noir Nation, Iman Shumpert found himself in the middle of a police conversation after a woman accused him of putting his hands on her.

🚨 Early Morning Dispute at Iman’s Home

According to TMZ, Atlanta police were called to Shumpert’s residence around 4 AM on Nov. 26 following a verbal dispute between the former NBA star and a woman identified as Joanna Donnejour. Officers arriving on the scene immediately observed Iman outside, placing a suitcase near the front of the home. He reportedly told authorities that he had asked Joanna multiple times to leave before tensions escalated.

💬 Joanna’s Version of Events

When officers spoke with Joanna, she claimed the argument began in Iman’s bedroom over him allegedly communicating with another woman, who all while another female was present in the home. Joanna stated that during the heated exchange, Iman “dragged her by her wrist and foot toward the stairs” in an attempt to remove her from the room. She also told police that he hit her and that she wanted to press charges.

👀 Witness Paints a Different Picture

The story took a turn when police interviewed the second woman who was present. She confirmed a verbal argument occurred but insisted she did not see Iman strike Joanna. According to her account, after asking Joanna twice to leave the room, Iman “grabbed her by the wrist to escort her out,” and it was not done aggressively.
