Former NBA star Lamar Odom is back in the headlines—and this time, it’s not for reality TV or basketball. The 45-year-old athlete is reportedly facing eviction from his Los Angeles mansion after failing to pay $45,000 in back rent.
According to newly filed court documents, Odom had a month-to-month oral agreement with Executive Recovery Group, Inc., which started in December 2024. Under the deal, he agreed to pay $15,000 per month to stay in the upscale Studio City home.
⏰ THREE MONTHS BEHIND & THE CLOCK IS TICKING
The problem? Odom allegedly missed rent payments from January through March 2025—and his landlord wasn’t about to let it slide. On March 11, the company served Odom with a three-day notice to pay or quit—the legal equivalent of “run me my money or get out.”
The notice, which was also sent via mail, gives Odom just 72 hours to respond before further legal action could be taken to recover the property.
🤐 NO WORD YET FROM LAMAR
So far, Odom has not publicly addressed the eviction claims. But according to the court filings, if he doesn’t act fast, the landlord is prepared to terminate the agreement altogether and reclaim the luxury property through official legal channels.
💔 STILL SEARCHING FOR STABILITY
This isn’t the first time Odom has faced personal or financial turbulence since leaving the NBA. From highly publicized relationship woes to struggles with addiction and recovery, the former Lakers star has had his fair share of ups and downs.
But this latest legal drama just adds another layer to a life that continues to play out in the spotlight.
