Jay-Z is opening up about the whirlwind of malicious attacks he and his family have endured online following previously issued accusations of him sexually assaulting a minor!
Both Jay Z alongside Diddy were accused of sexually assaulting a thirteen-year-old girl at a September 2000 MTV VMAs after party. Over the course of the last few months, the Roc Nation CEO has worked actively to maintain his innocence while firing back at the anonymous accuser’s representing attorney Tony Buzbee.
In response to the case being quietly dismissed on Friday (February 14th ) Jay has filed a countersuit against Buzbee citing that the suit was timed purposely to back him into a corner, reports the Daily Mail. “I felt that Mr. Buzbee was placing a gun to my head — that I either bow to his demands or endure personal financial ruin.”
As we previously reported the anonymous accuser alongside Buzbee filed a sexual assault suit against the music mogul a day before the ‘Lion King: Mufasa’ London premiere. The film starred both Beyoncé and their eldest daughter Blue Ivy.
“People have said, ‘I can’t wait until you join (Combs) in prison. Then later in hell,” Jay-Z declared in his complaint. “Other comments have accused me of being a ‘satanist,’ a ‘trafficker,’ a ‘terrorist’ and a monster,’ called me the N-word and threatened violence against me and my wife, including to kill or ‘execute’ us.”
The Brooklyn, New York native states that the issued suit caused personal and financial damage—including the loss of $20 million in business contracts, reports Yahoo News. Jay-z explains that he had fallen victim to canceled business deals and endorsements, as companies began to separate themselves from him.
Jay-Z says that he was forced into hiding in efforts of avoiding negative media attention which in return caused emotional distress. The 55 year old claims, Buzbee’s move was a calculated attack on his legacy.
