Cousins, Erica Mena had a couple of choice words for Safaree following his announcement that he has plans to host a back-to-school charity event in Jamaica soon!
Safaree announced on Instagram earlier this week his plans to help give back to various families while in Jamaica. “I want to start giving back more, and uh, I don’t why lately. [Maybe] this trip is just making me see things differently [but] I have to do it.”
“So if you’re somebody who know me, link me up if you want to help in any way,” he explained. He went on to announce that his foundation will be doing “a community treat giveback” later this month.”
In response, Erica popped up on Instagram Live to Safaree’s online speech. The former Love and Hip Hop: New York cast member advised folks to be aware of getting scammed while also sharing that their daughter started pre-k this week and that she felt bad that she couldn’t be present due to work. Erica claims that Safaree doesn’t even know that their daughter is in school.
Erica also asked how could Safaree care for other people’s children and not his own.
“And here I am feeling guilty because I wasn’t there due to work. And while I’m feeling guilty, motherf*****s is out here trying to make the world believe that they actually have a charity because they care about other people’s children.”
This isn’t Erica’s first rodeo putting Safaree on blast forwarding claims of him being an absent father.
As we previously reported Erica had called Safaree out in July for allegedly failing to pay attention to their children’s upkeep.
“I really been sparring you for sooo long but enough it enough. You love social media attention so here it is,” wrote Erica in a series of Instagram stories alongside photos of their daughter and son’s hair.
“You already go months at a time in not seeing these babies by choice. You went two months this last go around. You finally pop up at Legends bday – empty handed and NEVER offering to pay half for anything like always. You came for your quick once every few months photo opportunity with them and bounced.”
Erica continued, “You finally decided to get them this past Saturday. Legend came their with his hair braided already. Clearly it needed to be taken out. But me just assuming since the so called auntie and grandma was in town my baby would be good. Right??”
“How is it no one thought to take my baby braids out and wash his hair?!!?! Especially since he was in and out a chlorine pool”.
Erica’s comments are often met with a tremendous amount of backlash online as folks advise her to stop going to social media to bash Safaree.
