Actress Erica Ash Passes Away At 46 Following Battle With Cancer!

Cousins! It is with a heavy heart that we inform you all of the passing of beloved actress Erica Ash!

Rumors regarding Erica’s passing began to circulate online early Monday morning, July 29th across social media.

Erica’s mother Diann Ash confirmed the tragic news later in the day to TMZ, in a shared statement.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, and friend Erica Chantal Ash (1977-2024). After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she transitioned peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.”

It has been stated that Erica passed away on Sunday July 28th in Los Angeles following a battle with cancer.

“Erica was an amazing woman and talented entertainer who touched countless lives with her sharp wit, humor, and genuine zest for life. Her memory will live eternally in our hearts,” reads a statement from her publicist.

Fellow celebrities such as, Lance Gross, Loni Love, and more took to Instagram to pay tribute to the fellow actor.

“With all the ugliness that this world and sometimes our industry brings there are few among us that are the LIGHT and you are that for so many,” wrote fellow actress Tisha Campbell.

“You are talented, you are funny, you are brilliant and you are flying with much earned wings. My God Erica this is a rough one man!!!! I love you my little sister RIP @theericaash”

Erica will be remembered for her long list of acting credits ranging from both television and film such as “The Big Gay Sketch Show”, “Scary Movie V,” “Uncle Drew” , “Mad TV” , “Survivor’s Remorse”, “Real Husbands of Hollywood”, “Incontempt” and more.
