Cousins! Simone Biles has shown and proved once more why the title of ‘THE GOAT’ rightfully belongs to her 🐐💪🏿

The legendary gymnast made history by taking home the gold medal in the women’s vault final on Saturday, which marked her third gold medal of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Simone entered the final with the highest qualifying score of 15.800, notably more than half a point higher than her competitor Rebeca Andrade of Brazil.

According to NBC News, Simone has been crowned the second woman in Olympic history to ever win the vault twice. The 27-year-old declared top of the podium eight years ago at the Summer Games in Rio back in 2016.

There has been much speculation and rumors circulating whether or not Simone will be retiring after this year’s Olympics. However, Simone says she is not opposed to appearing at the 2028 competition in Los Angeles.

“Never say never,” she said. “The next Olympics is at home, so you just never know, but I am getting really old.”

Simone’s historic win marks her official return to the match after undergoing negative comments online over the last few years.

“The negative comments, they’re painful after a certain point,” Biles said Saturday. “They hurt, but I’m still in therapy working on all that stuff to just make sure my mental health is well.”

Simone added, “They’re really quiet now.”

She also took to social media to thank her fans and members of her support system.

“I truly am grateful to have such an amazing & strong support system ❤️ I see your tweets & insta tags! THANK YOU & to all who follow, watch & support. I’m incredibly grateful! ILY’ALL,” Simone wrote on Twitter (X). “
