Kel Mitchell Speaks On The Ending Of His First Marriage; Claims His Ex-Wife Kept Cheating On Him And Getting Pregnant!

Cousins! Kel Mitchell dropped a bombshell regarding his first marriage as he explained why things didn’t quite work out in the end!

In a newly aired episode of ‘Club Shay Shay’ the former child star issued claims that within his previous marriage to Tyisha Hampton, she was not only a serial cheater but kept coming up pregnant by various men.

Kel revealed to Shannon that he had first learned of the alleged pregnancies after the former couple conceived their first child together.

“We had the abortion, but then we had a baby, and she ended up telling me that the baby that was aborted wasn’t mine,” Kel claimed. “It was a lot, it was other times she had gotten pregnant. Yeah, I stuck around… These were things that were being revealed.”

The former Nickelodeon star says that he remained within their marriage but later down the line there was a point when Tyisha would allegedly stop coming home.

Further in the interview, Kel recalled an incident where he allegedly caught Tyisha at a hotel with a man who used to come over to their house when he had been out working a lot.

Kel says that he became curious one day while he was at home and Tyisha wasn’t so he decided to search for her within their neighborhood.

“I got in the whip, went driving around, saw her whip. I saw it at the hotel. I go to the lobby, and it turns out the dude just came walking down the lobby about to go to the car. My car that she was driving. I’m like, ‘Oh, OK, what’s up? Take me upstairs.’”

Kel issued further details that he had seen Tyisha within a room at the hotel and after further scoping out the situation, decided to not act on anything. However, he admits that the police were later called to the premises as things got out of hand. He says that an arriving officer had advised him to, “get out of the situation.”

The 45 year old says that he remained in his marriage even after that situation in an attempt to make things work for their kids.

According to Kel the chaos didn’t end there for the couple as he states Tyisha allegedly ended up in the hospital once more after undergoing a miscarriage. He says that he is unsure if the child was his and that they later divorced after she accused him of seeing someone else.

Kel is said to have filed for divorce from Tyisha in 2005, together they share two children Lyric and Allure Mitchell.

The actor turned preacher remarried a woman named Asia Lee in 2012. They share a son and a daughter together named Wisdom and Honor Mitchell. They are still married at this time.
