Throughout Megan’s career, she has been open with fans about her mom Holly Thomas’ 2019 passing following a battle with Brain Cancer. The Houston, Texas native often shares how her mother serves as the biggest inspiration in her career and how her death deeply affects her.
It has been indicated that necessary precautions have been set in place following the controversy surrounding Megan’s trending single ‘Hiss’.
TMZ reports that the Texas cemetery where Holly was laid to rest has contacted local authorities to assist in adding extra security following online drama connected to Megan’s recently released tune.
Thankfully there has been no reports of any criminal activity surrounding the gravesite—-however police officials will remain in tact to monitor the situation.
As we previously reported a line in Megan’s single ‘Hiss’ where she mentioned ‘Megan’s Law’ stirred up quite the controversy online as social media conncted the lyric to be a jab towards Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty.
