Cousins! New York City police officers are currently on the hunt for a male accused of tragically sexually assaulting a young girl that he met on the internet!
According to Fox News Digital, the unnamed suspect is said to have met with the 10-year-old victim on Saturday, January 6. Sources state that the two had connected through an undisclosed app and had later met up.
Police state that the male lured the young girl to a Third Avenue and East 122nd Street residence in Harlem where he raped her.
Reports read that the suspect immediately fled the scene after attacking the young girl.
She was later taken by EMS to a hospital within the area for medical evaluation. Thankfully, officials have stated that she is in stable condition.
It hasn’t been confirmed whether or not the two have met before the incident.
Several images of the suspect wanted for questioning have been released by police. The shared images are said to have been taken before the tragic ordeal.
The male is described as a Black man seen wearing a Black durag paired with a navy-colored hoodie that reads “Nautica” in large embroidered letters on the front.
No further details have been provided at this time as officers continue their search.
