Nore Expresses That He Wishes Jay-Z Would’ve Taken The Time To Speak With Authentic Hip Hop Platforms Instead Of Gayle King And CBS, “ We’re finally in the space of us owning our own everything”

Cousins! Drink Champs co-host Noreaga says that he would’ve love to have seen Jay-Z appear on a Hip Hop platform in regard to his one on one interview with Gayle King on CBS!

As we previously reported, Jay appeared in a CBS Segment for his Book of Hov exhibit at the Brooklyn Library. In conversation with Gayle, Jay discussed multiple subjects ranging from his l legacy in music, family life and future endeavors.

The conversation served as a pivotal point for fans’s of the Hip Hop icon as he publicly answered viral questions from social media, shared stories surrounding his most beloved albums , highlighted moments within his career and his love for his family.

While appearing on the People’s Party podcast hosted by Talib Kweli, Nore expressed his disappointment in the Jay Z interview. Nore says that though he understands the value in appealing to a broad audience in mainstream media, it would’ve been monumental to see him on a platform that serves the culture.

“I love JAY-Z,” said Nore. “He sat down with Gayle King, it’s a great relationship … would I rather him sit with the People’s Party? Would I rather him sit with Joe Budden’s podcast or Drink Champs or Million Dollaz Worth of Game? Of course.”

He added, “Because we’re finally in the space of us owning our own everything, and podcasts is help for that.”
