Cousins! Following two months of dating it appears that Kelis and Bill Murrary have decided to pull the plug on their relationship.
According to reports from The Sun, a source close to the couple details that their brief union has run its course and that they mutually decided to go their separate ways.
Sources state that Kelis, 44 and Bill, 72 had conflicting schedules which ultimately took a toll on their romance.
“Kelis and Bill were — and still are — very fond of each other but things just ran their course,” the source tells the news outlet. “They both have busy schedules and after a whirlwind romance, decided to go their separate ways.”
It has been stated that both the singer-songwriter and veteran entertainer have made plans to remain friends.
Neither Kelis nor Bill have ever publicly addressed circulated dating rumors.
However, according to reports from CNN, Kelis responded to a comment made on her Instagram last month after an online user wrote, “Bill got u out here riding his wave” and the “media is destroying y’all lol.”
Kelis responded in saying,, “Lol yeah maybe for now.”
She added, “Everyone is dumb and will believe everything but the best part is we are both blessed, rich, and happy. So who’s really laughing [laughing emoji] now that’s funny.”
