Cousins! Word on the street is the folks of Instagram are seemingly switching up the tempo with an all new feature set to add a song to users profiles. Now y’all know us millennials ain’t new to this, back in the early 2000s we were getting our super tech skills on with coding and adding hit songs to our profiles. So with this news all we can honestly think of, is it giving MySpace?
According to Hyperbae , tech leaker Alessandro Paluzzi announced the proposed news earlier this week. He explains, “Here is where your chosen song will be shown in your #Instagram bio.”
On Twitter he shared a direct screenshot of the reported new feature and how it will be displayed on users profiles. “Currently, the music is not played but this may change before official release,”wrote Alessandro.
He explains that the music selection feature will reportedly appear downward toward the bottom area of where your biois right underneath. The option will only appear when you select “Edit profile,” followed by labeled “Music” option. Ultimately you will be able to search for a song and add a caption.
As of right now Instagram has not confirmed the newly proposed music feature.
