A Louisiana Grand Jury has officially indicted Mystikal on charges of first degree rape. This stems from a July incident where a woman says she was held hostage against her will at his Baton Rouge apartment!

According to RollingStone under state law if the rapper is convicted, the rape charge comes with a mandatory life sentence. It has also been stated that Mystikal is facing nine additional criminal count charges. Ranging from damage to property, false imprisonment, domestic abuse battery by strangulation, robbery, along with several drug-related offenses.

As we previously reported, Mystikal born Michael Tyler, was arrested on Sunday July 31st following an alleged incident over the weekend. Deputies had responded to a local hospital in connecting to sexual assault on Saturday around midnight.

Mystikal currently remains behind bars. He is being held without bail.
