Cousins!

Cousins, if you guys were looking forward to the new album from the City Girls, then keep looking because chances are it is not coming anytime soon. 

The Florida duo, JT and Yung Miami, planned to have the summer in a chokehold with their third studio album scheduled for July 29. But according to Caresha their album’s release is delayed due to “issues.” 

During an Instagram Live chat, Miami talked with fans “when one of them asked about the status of the new album,” reports HipHopDx. 

Miami explains, “The album was supposed to drop July 29, but it’s not dropping because we had some issues — not issues, but you know, when you dropping an album, you have to make sure everything is good.” 

JT further explained the delayed album by hopping on Twitter and tweeting, “Our album NOT finished!!!! TF….!” 

According to fans of the female rap group, their label Quality Control pushed the album back to avoid running against Beyonce, who will release her seventh studio album  Renaissance on July 29.  

Unfortunately, we will not be getting any new music from the pair. But we can tune in to the HBO Max series Rap Sh!t with Issa Rae, in which the ladies are producing.
