The Migos may have successfully dodged break up rumors but they sure can’t slip pass the lawsuit Offset filed this week in regards to his solo career!
According to TMZ, Offset is currently suing Quality Control Records for allegedly ignoring a deal made back in January of 2021.
In court documents obtained by the outlet Offset is said to have negotiated his solo deal and paid a hefty amount for his artist rights.
However following Offset’s newly dropped solo project, he says the label has yet to honor the deal. A solo single titled “54321” featuring Baby Keem was dropped earlier this month in which he claims QC is incorrectly attempting to claim as their own.
Following the breaking of the newly issued suit, QC owner Pierre ‘Pee’ Thomas took to social media with a word for Offset. It didn’t go over too well as Offset then responded that he hasn’t spoken to Pee in years, while claiming that he’s has had him blackballed.
Cardi B also pulled up to the comment section of the The Neighborhood Talk to double down on the issued claims.
