Kid Cudi seemingly got slapped in the face with a water bottle on Friday night during his headlining set at Rolling Loud Miami in Florida!
A series of video clips forwarded by attendees show folks continuing to throw a variation of items at Cudi and on to the stage.
As things began to escalate, the ‘Day n Nite’ rapper cut the music and issued a warning in saying, “I will f***ing leave. If I get hit with one more f***ing thing — if I see one more f***ing thing on this f***ing stage, I’m leaving,” he says. “Don’t f*** with me.”
In response, a member of the audience then threw another bottle on stage, causing Kudi to drop the mic and make his exit.
A spokesperson for Rolling Loud Miami has since issued an apology on social media stating, “Rolling Loud is a family. Our fans, the artists, and everyone involved need to look out for each other. Share the love and be respectful to everyone. We love you, Cudi. Please take care of each other and let’s have an amazing day 2!”
As we previously reported Cudi took the place of his former friend Kanye West as a headliner. Folks on social media argue that Cudi was met with so much turmoil because fans wanted to see the Chicago native perform instead.
Despite Ye pulling out of the festival unexpectedly he did happen to appear within a surprise appearance with Lil Durk.
