College Hill: Celebrity Edition will be coming to our screens soon and will feature a number of celebs who are all looking to either finish or attend college for the first time!
The show’s location is Texas Southern University and will show the lives of the celebs as students on campus, in the HBCU. This is the celeb edition of the College Hill show that ran from 2004 to 2009 and showed the lives of students at various HBCUs.
It has been reported by theJasmineBRAND that one of the original cast celebs, Stacey Dash, quit the show, right in the middle of filming, leaving her castmates surprised. She left before filming wrapped and her reason for leaving is not yet known 👀.
Dash’s departure means that the cast now consists of NeNe Leakes, Lamar Odom, Ray J, Big Freedia, Slim Thug, India Love and DreamDoll who were all announced as cast members back in March of this year. The remaining stars will be heading back into the classroom and looking to grow their educational abilities.

The show will be 8-episodes long and will explore college life through the lens of the celebrities while showcasing the unique academic and cultural experiences that HBCUs give students. The cast will have to complete their coursework, work on group projects and attend required internships in order to receive a speciality certificate at the end of the program that will allow them to graduate.
Tracey Edmonds, who is the original creator and executive producer of College Hill, has returned for this reboot. She is over the moon to have partnered with Texas Southern University and is happy that she’s been able to bring back the popular franchise, with an added twist, which she is sure will be full of drama and leave viewers highly entertained.
