Four families whose children were injured in the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas are suing the estate of identified gunman Salvador Ramos, for upwards of $100 million!
According to obtained court documents, the families are seeking compensation for physical and emotional damages that were brought on from the tragic shooting.
Salvador, 18 was shot and killed by law enforcement on May 24th after he took the lives of 19 children and two teachers and left 17 children and adults injured. The shooter entered through an open back door of the school and used two AR-15 style rifles to unleash horror onto the students and teachers of Robb Elementary. The complaint states that Ramos “intentionally injured these young children, stole their innocence, and forever changed their lives”.

This is an initial lawsuit that will be handled by the attorneys of The Thomas J. Henry Law firm who feel that the lawsuit “will allow us to discover evidence” and “focus on the school system, law enforcement, social media and gun and ammunition manufacturers”, reports The Hill.

The Thomas J. Henry Law firm previously represented the victims of the 2017 Sutherland Springs shooting and was awarded more than $200 million within a settlement originally a part of a filed lawsuit. Their aim for the four families is to obtain justice for their children and ensure that changes are made to protect children in school.
