Are you guys ready to hear Jussie Smollett‘s side of the story?

Actor and former Fox Empire star Jussie Smollett may have the opportunity to tell his side of things and it involves a huge book deal. Reportedly the 39-year-old actor is now being approached by publishers to spill the tea for 10 million. If he decides to release a book, it could be the most scandalous tell-all in recent history. 

According to The Jasmine Brand, sources say after “posting a hefty bond of $150,000, the former ‘Empire‘ star may be looking for a way to make some big bucks.”

An insider says, “People are pitching him hard, and Jussie’s been told he could get a $10 million deal, and way more depending on how much he dishes.”

“He’s desperate for a cash infusion. The word is “Jussie intends to spill on the cruel way he was fired from the show, the co-stars who betrayed him, and the friends who refused to back him in his time of need.”

The insider adds, “[Jussie is] confident he’ll be vindicated in court..But whatever happens, Jussie’s earnings have dried up, so there’s no doubt he’ll sign on the dotted line — even if he has to pen this book from a jail cell!”

Smollett was sentenced on March 10 to serve 150 days in jail. The actor was ordered to pay a $25,000 fine and $120,000 in restitution to the city of Chicago for lying to police about an alleged hate crime. Released on bond, Smollett only served six days in jail based on an emergency release. Smollett’s lawyers argued that the star faced “vicious threats toward him and his family, including one from a man who wished sexual assault on Smollett.”
