It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we inform you all of the tragic passing of 24 year old Dwyane Haskins of the Pittsburgh Steelers!

According to circulating reports the Quarterback was tragically struck by a car early Saturday morning on April 9th.

In a forwarded statement shared on social media Dwyane‘s wife Kalabrya Haskins thanks the Steelers for their support.

“All of your blessings have been greatly valued and appreciated. My husband was more than a great football player. “He had the smile of a rainbow that touched the diversity of so many. He will forever rest and remain in our hearts til the end of time.”

According to TMZ, she is requesting privacy at this time. Kalabrya also announced that a celebration of life will be held for Dwayne later this month on April 22 at the Allegheny Center Alliance Church in Pittsburgh.
