Cousins!

The Williams household is not breaking up anytime soon because Venus and Serena Williams‘s stepmother is pumping the brakes on a divorce from their dad!

Lakeisha Williams, 43, is trying to stop the divorce from Richard Williams, 80. According to court documents obtained by the Jasmine Brand,  she has told a judge in Palm Beach, Florida, that her marriage is not  irreparably broken.

LaKeisha’s lawyer, Sara Lawrence wrote: “The wife believes that the parties have reconciled and have engaged in an active marital life including having regular weekly sexual relations including but not limited to on January 9, 2022, the night before filing this motion.”

Despite their 37-year-age-gap and Richard’s current medical condition, Lakeisha insists they have an active sex life.

Reportedly, the couple has been back together since August 2019 and since then, there has not been ‘no discovery, no mediation, and no real activity” in the divorce proceedings. Also, the pair are raising their 9-year-old son, Dylan Williams. 

”The case is not ready for final hearing and during the period of dormancy, the parties have been raising their son who is now age 9 years old and whose needs have changed drastically since the filing of this matter in 2017 when the child was 5 years old.”

The couple married back in 2009, seven years after Richard divorced Venus & Serena’s mother, Orancene Price.

Nobody wins when the family feuds, so we hope they can fix their marriage.
